windows 10 update

Are you happy using your current version of Windows ?

Microsoft have been trying to get people to Windows 10 for the last few months with their upgrade pop-ups. Now the Windows 10 upgrade pop-up has been changed and by clicking the X in the corner, Microsoft decides that you want to upgrade instead of skipping the upgrade as most people expect.

For those who do want to avoid this, we can help with blocking the pop-ups.

If you want to get rid of the “Get Windows 10” icon and stop your PC from downloading the update, you can download a little piece of freeware called Never10, from well-respected security researcher Steve Gibson.

Click here to download it, run it, and then click the “Disable Win10 Upgrade” button. If your system has already downloaded the Win 10 update files, it will tell you, and you can click the “Remove Win10 Files” to delete them.

You’ll have to reboot, but at the end, the icon will be gone and your computer shouldn’t get the upgrade.
