Sales Ledger
Take Five Enterprise sales ledger allows you to keep customer records and record transactions for each customer. Service or service type invoices and credit notes can be entered and printed for each customer as well as debits/credits and receipts/receipt reversals.Our forms designer allows for high flexibility in design of invoices, sales orders, etc to allow you to suit your customers requirements.
All customer records have notepad and budget/target facilities as well as hot links to documents created in other Windows products. Account set up is simplified with default entries available for all key fields. Transaction history can be maintained for up to 99 periods. Invoices can be posted individually directly to the sales ledger, or in batch and can be updated without printing (with the option of printing at a later stage). Purchase Ledger
The basic purchase ledger in Enterprise Starter Pack module allows you to keep supplier records and keep transactions for each supplier in history. Service invoices and credit notes can be entered for each supplier as well as debits/credits and receipts/receipt reversals. Enterprise's purchase ledger, contains a helpful GRNI systems to track the value of goods received, but which have not yet been invoiced by your supplier. Helping to track the value of your purchase accruals. Purchase transaction history can be maintained for up to 99 periods. Integration of purchase ledger with stock and cash book, provides efficient processing and meaningful information.

Invoices can be registered (waiting for authorisation) and posted in batch or direct to supplier accounts. Payment processing features an "onscreen cheque" with the option of entering allocation details at the same time. Cheque and Remittance Advice printing come as standard and all payments are reflected in the integrated Cashbook.Advance Posting feature lets you proceed with next months accounts while keeping the current month open.
Stock Control / Invoicing
Enterprise has the stock control system that meets a wide variety of needs. Features like multi-stock location, bill of materials and hot links (to other Windows products) come as standard. Valuations available for every stock item include average, latest, service and percentage cost. Once you have the stock module you can use sales and purchase stock invoicing modules. Sales stock invoices automatically decrement your stock. In purchases, you can update stock received from Supplier Invoices or from receiving purchase orders. Using stock invoices in sales and purchases ensures that the correct nominal codes associated with that stock item are used in integrating with your nominal ledger.
Each stock item can have six individual selling prices as well as a fixed discount associated with it. However using the stock discount facility you can have a comprehensive price matrix where every customer can have their own price for every product by defining either a bonus, discount percent or fixed price for a product.
These stock prices features can also be used for eCommerce orders. Stock is also integrated with sales and purchase order processing. Nominal Ledger
The Nominal Ledger (also known as the General Ledger) is used in the preparation of final accounts and in the production of profit & loss accounts and balance sheet. The nominal ledger supports up to 13 periods one of which can be an audit period used for posting auditors adjustments. Postings take place in the form of batches where a batch will not post unless the total debits equal the total credits. Updates from the sales, purchase and cash ledgers are always balanced based on the control codes set up in system manager. In that way your Nominal Ledger is never unbalanced as the double entry rules are always automatically applied.
Each batch can be posted to a specified period, including opening balance postings which can help you to adjust your figures according to audited reports. Also, each batch can be an accruals batch (which will be automatically reversed at month end) or a recurring batch (the batch is retained for posting every month if necessary).The Take Five Financial Report Generator is a powerful tool which allows you to define your own reports for your own specific needs.
Cashbook
The Take Five Enterprise Cashbook makes managing your cash an efficient operation. It automates many of the posting, arithmetic and reconciliation requirements. Each time that you enter either a receipt or a payment through your sales or purchase ledger Take Five automatically registers the cash movement in the bank account. This means that your system is up to date with all cash transactions and genuinely reflects the amount of cash that you have on hand. You can also make postings for things such as interest received or bank charges.
Bank Reconciliation
Bank reconciliation is made even easier by the ability to group lodge a number of transactions together using the Bank Lodgement option. You can quickly select all transactions on a statement with a click of the mouse. If you cannot finalise the statement in one sitting, you can save the unreconciled statement and come back to it later if you wish. You can also force a reconciliation if necessary which means that you don't have to go into another option to enter that bank charge that appears on the statement but has not yet been entered onto the bank account within enterprise.
Sales Order Processing
Enterprise gives you the power to control your Sales Orders. Enterprise supports active, held, credit held, and forward orders. Orders may be amended at picking, despatch, or invoicing stages. Order prices can be fixed at time of order entry or the order can be automatically revalued to current product prices. You must have the stock module to be able to use this module. Order Acknowledgement and Despatch Notes can be designed and printed to your own requirements. Quotes can be converted to orders and new orders created from existing orders at the click of a button.
Purchase Order Process
Enterprise allows the user to enter orders and generate purchase order numbers for purchases from suppliers.Orders are received through the system and Goods Received Notes are generated. Purchase invoices can then be created from the goods received using the GRNI system.The GRNI system also lets you print reports of goods received but not yet invoiced so that you can create a purchase accruals batch in your nominal ledger.
Scope Enquiry System
Take Five Enterprise's 'Scope enquiry system provides a powerful knowledge engine that seeks out and delivers exacting management information in formats that are tailored to your company's needs. By providing drill-down access to any ledger you can track down relevant information quickly and with no fuss. 'Scope is context sensitive within the accounts package so activating 'Scope on a screen referencing a particular account will bring the details for that account into view immediately. 'Scope is read only so it can safely be used at any time without resulting in any unwanted amendments. With 'Scope you can generate your own enquiry and summary formulas, giving you answers to your most frequently asked questions; such as balance on a customers account, invoices which make up that balance, details on a purchase order number, level of a certain stock item in free stock, etc.
Also, scope is not charged per user and can be made available to all workstations on a network. This gives password protected customised knowledge and control to selected non processing users in your business.
Multi-Currency
Take Five Enterprise offers a full Multi-currency module with features which include triangulation as required by the euro. Not only can euro, home and non euroland currencies co-exist in the same ledger, but any account can be converted automatically to euro with a mouse click.
Once you have the multi-currency module all currency gains/losses are calculated and reports can be printed of realised and unrealised gains/losses. The loss or gain is then transferred to the nominal ledger when realised. All stock prices are converted to the currency of the customer or supplier at the time of putting through the transaction.
Intrastat
Intrastat is the statistical information detailing the total value of acquisitions and supplies to and from EC countries. Companies exceeding the published import and export thresholds will be required to provide detailed analysis of imports and exports. Take Five Enterprise's Intrastat module allows you to accumulate the required information and output it in the correct format.
Sales Analysis
The Sales Analysis module gives you the ability to print reports or summaries based on your sales invoices. Typical reports are product by customer, rep by customer, by group by product, customer by product, etc. These reports can be printed for a particular period or for a range of periods, for a particular customer/product or range of customers/products etc.
Built-In Forms Designer
Take Five Enterprise comes complete with its own forms designer to design a non standard layout. Designer allows you to create your own layouts for financial form documents such as invoices, statements and cheques. Using Designer you can specify the position of data items on a page, the font, font size, size and shapes of the boxes around the data, and the number of lines to print for invoices or similar documents.

Oil Module
Enterprise starter pack with stock, multi-currency, sales analysis and oil module gives a Windows accounting solution and appropriate analysis for oil distribution. The features of Take Five's oil module are aimed at distributors of petrol, kerosene and home heating oil etc. Specific issues for this sector are to track litres of oil to four decimal places of a £ or a Euro, and four decimal places of a litre in the quantity field. Take Five oil module also tracks rebates given from suppliers based on volume sold, and to get meaningful sales analysis of volume and margin.
The oil module allows entry of the VAT inclusive amount in the line value field of an invoice. Enterprise works back, dividing by quantity, to get the line unit value ex VAT and shows the line VAT amount. This is required for when oil is delivered and a rounded up cheque is given.Take Five also allows for third party deliveries and easy look up of customer account codes and delivery addresses.
